My name is Steven Jordan and I go by the name of DJ Escalade. I have been in love with music since I was a kid. I would scratch my moms records on the stereo we had in the house imitating what I saw on tv. Around this time the swisha house and other groups were putting out screwed and chopped mixes and me and my cousin wanted to create our own mixes. We went trough different computer programs trying to find a way to do what they were doing but didn't have much luck. I stumbled upon Virtual DJ one day and the rest is history. I was on the computer making a mix and wearing my Nike 8403 1985 authentic Jordan jersey and he basically drew a mean mug cartoon of me and what i had on and put wrecked at the top. From there we started We Wreck Trakz. I ended up going back to college and picked up some belt drive turntables and learned how to do what we did on the computer live. My cousin move on from the music and I stayed at it creating more mixes showcasing my skills to my friends. My first gig was a reception all i had was a mixer, 1 turntable, some speakers and a receiver. From there I birthed my business. I did my first public event in 2009 with my buddy and the rest is history. I have been going strong ever since. I have done weddings, receptions, birthday parties, pool parties, boat parties, artist showcases, city events, and school dances. I hope to one day be in clubs and on the radio.
